Note from the President
Hope you all had a Happy Valentine’s Day. We’re starting to get more active on prizes and Rendezvous setup. Prizes are starting to come in and we appreciate each and every one of them. With new ideas for prizes and for targets, we are getting a better picture of what we want our Rendezvous to be this year. If you have ideas for events be sure to bring them to the meeting. We are scheduling work parties and will work on any ideas that you have.

We will be getting a schedule made up for 4 hour time sections for members to work at the Rendezvous. That will allow all of us to ENJOY our own Rendezvous and maybe even shoot our own trailwalk. YEAH !!!!.

Also we are beginning to get the schedule for the monthly shoots done. They are going to be the 4th Thursday of each month at FMC Park. It was also voted to have our annual picnic at FMC Park on the 14th of August so that we can have a shoot earlier that day for all those wishing to participate.

Brent

A theme was approved for the Medallion and Larry Fordyce is building a powder horn with the theme scrimshawed on it. We’re all excited to see how it turns out. The Powder horn will make a beautiful prize. Thanks Larry.

We also are very happy to have 2 pistols for the club. Glenn Cameron and Wayne Nelson donated. Thanks to both of you.

Some of the rules for the Rendezvous were tweeted and we have suggestion for signs at the start of the trailwalk. We are trying to keep the range open all day if can get people to sign up. That will help people get all their shooting done. Also, we are starting on the booklet and more flyers. If you have articles that we can use for the book please send or e-mail them to Ester at bsnorider@msn.com.

We are going to have a Target Work Party at Brent Cutler’s on Saturday, February 25th at 1 PM. We will be going over and picking the Targets for this year’s Rendezvous. While the guys are busy with the targets any of the women that want, can work on Rendezvous prizes. We have some items cut out that we will be working on and can get you started with for prizes.

Buck Nowell made and donated a Dill Bow Fire Starter kit that should help someone with their fire starting skills. Thanks Buck.

Games were discussed for the Friday night campfire. And if you have any ideas for the kids games during the day please let us know.

Gun Show at Ponds Student Union March 3rd & 4th. This is our display forum. We need help setting up Friday afternoon about 4PM and people to man the display for a few hours Saturday & Sunday with tear down at 4 PM Sunday.
